Like previous opuses, players can customize their skins by using photos from websites.
Clicking the “Random” button will give a random color. Clicking the “Default” button will return to original color. Players can now make a bright, a dark, or another fur color by choosing any color from the color wheel. It is worth noting that these items are only usable (excluding flashlight) in Collect and Versus. When an item is selected, it will glow green. Players can now equip, one of four items: Flashlight, Classic Flashlight, Night Vision Camera, and Builder’s Torch. Players can now once again customize skins and hats. It has a much bigger customization than other opuses.

Customization differs in this game from previous entries as it allows for not only customization of body appearance, but also hat model. Character Customization makes a return in Slendytubbies 2D.
